The physicians and staff of Anesthesia Medical Alliance of East Tennessee, P.C. (AMAET) are not employed by the hospitals and surgery centers where we work. The bill from the hospital or surgery center may include anesthesia charges related to the equipment, drugs, and other supplies that we use, but you will be billed separately for the services provided by AMAET. Anesthesiology fees are charged based on the Relative Value Guide developed by the American Society of Anesthesiologists and accepted by most major insurance companies.
